This is the longestbridge on the line. Some trains can be so long that the front of the train will have crossed the bridge while the rear has yet to cross. It is belived to the most photographed railway bridge in the southern hemisphere.

Photos of the the landslide tat closed the railway in 1953. It is located between Selby and Menzies Creek.

This is a small ballast quarry just past lakeside on the up side of the line at pole 202. It was discovered back in 1997/8 when the line to gembrook was being reopened. The only remains is the quarry itself and is hard to spot from the train. There was once a suggestion to build a siding into it but this never happened. It is at Melway Ref 311 A3
